Transformation of Business, Economy and Society in Digital Era 26-27 April, 2019
Summary
The Faculty of Management, PAHER University organized this two-day International Conference on “Transformation of Business, Economy and Society in Digital Era†scheduled on 26th and 27th July 2019. The organizing members of the conference were Prof. Mahima Birla (Conference Director); Dr. Pallavi Mehta (Organising Secretary) and Prof. Dipin Mathur (Chief Coordinator).
This conference has provided a platform for researchers, academicians and industry to share and exchange ideas on the various researches related to the conference theme. The conference had Seven Technical Tracks spread over two days with expert’s key note addresses and interactive discussions. In these two days 16 parallel technical sessions were conducted. We had received the paper from more than 10 countries, with 70+ universities of India and Abroad. 800+ Delegates and 250+ Student Participants were registered in person and in-absentia as well as in online category for this conference and in 2 days of marathon sessions we succeeded to complete around 350 presentations in online and offline mode.
The experts and the resource persons were invited who have sound knowledge in the field of Digital Transformation in Business, Economy, Society & Culture.
The first day of conference took off magnificently with an inaugural session in which all the delegates were welcomed by Prof. Mahima Birla, Conference Director, after which chief guest of the conference Prof N. S. Rathore Sb. Deputy Director General, Education, Indian Council of Agriculture Research, New Delhi, addressed the august gathering and congratulated the organizer of the conference for selecting this pertinent theme. He spoke about the need of Digital Technology an Artificial Intelligence in the field of Agriculture, he also emphasized on the use of Robotics and cloud computing in today’s business and agriculture growth.
The inaugural was also graced by the presence of Prof. B.P. Sharma sb, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, He emphasized on the use of digitalization in the area of Business, Economy and Society. By way of certain illustrative examples he tried to prove his submission. He emphasized that Artificial Intelligence is required in every aspect of the business.
The dais was also graced by the presence of Prof. P. K. Dashora Sb, Ex Vice Chancellor, Kota University, he pondered over the use of digitalization in society and emphasized on developing a social connectivity to justify the use of technology and visualizing the future growth of technology he said that a day will come when computers may develop emotions like human being.
Dr. Pallavi Mehta, Organizing Secretary in her inaugural speech enlightened the audience with the theme of the conference and the possible motives of selecting the theme of the conference. Then ceremonially the inaugural session was concluded through vote of thanks by Chief Coordinator Prof. Dipin Mathur. After the inaugural session all the technical session started parallel. The Theme of the Track - I was Evolution of Agriculture & Dairy Science with Digital Innovation:
The Chairperson of the theme was Prof. S. R. Maloo sb Dean Pacific College of Agriculture; the Key Note Speaker was Prof. S. S. Burark, Professor Emiratus Department of Agriculture Economics, MPUAT, and Special Lectures in this session were of Dr. Latika Sharma, Associate Professor Dept of Agriculture Economics MPUAT; Dr. Arun Goyal, Associate Professor CDFST MPUAT; Dr. Nikita Wadhawan, Associate Professor CDFST MPUAT; and Dr. Siddha Maloo.
In all 57 Papers were presented in this track. The major themes discussed in this session were Information Technology in Agriculture, Big Data in Agriculture, Block Chain, Artificial Intelligence in Farming & Dairy Farming. The Track was coordinated by Dr. Pushpkant Shakdwipee and Dr. Khushbu Agarwal. The Theme of the Track – II was Digital Transformation in Health Science and Pharmacy:
The Chairperson of the theme was Prof. A. P. Gupta sb; the Co-Chair was Dr. Mohit Pal Singh Sir, Vice Principal Pacific Dental College and Key Note Speaker Dr. Udichi Kataria, Associate Professor College of Pharmacy Geetanjali, Special Lecture in this session was of Dr. Mridula Tak, Associate Professor Pacific Dental College. In all 30 Papers were presented in this track. The major themes discussed in this session were Digital Health Medication Management, Pharmacy Services and Public Health Initiatives, 3-D Bio-Printing Process, Health Apps etc.

The Theme of the Track – III was Digital Transformation in Business, Economy and Management
The Theme of the Track – IV was Entrepreneurship and Digitalization
As both the track were related to business management we ran both of them in parallel.
The Chairperson of the theme was Prof. P.K.Sharma, Director Faculty of Management VMOU Kota, Co-Chair was Prof. Navneet Agarwal CTAE, and Key Note Speaker was Prof. K. K. Dave, Director Academics PAHER University and Mr. Kaustubh Bhattacharya from UCCI, Special Lecture in this session was of Dr. Kamini Shah Associate Professor Vallabh Vidhya Nagar. In all 105 Papers were presented in this track. The major themes discussed in this session were Digital Marketing Strategies, Digital Product Innovation, Digital Business Model, Digital Banking, Digital HR, Innovation and Start-ups, Role of Digital Education in Fostering Entrepreneurship etc.
The Track was coordinated by Dr. Shivhoam Singh & Dr. Shikha Bhargav The Theme of the Track – V was Future Digital Technologies & Engineering Special Lecture in this session was of Mr. Annanya M. Mehta Research Associate Symbiosis In all 22 Papers were presented in this track. The major themes discussed in this session were Nano Technology, Internet of Things, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Virtual Reality, Bio-informatics.
The Track was coordinated by Dr. Shankar Choudhary & Dr. Khushbo Agarwal The Theme of the Track – VI was Social & Cultural Trends in Digital Era The Theme of the Track – VII was Digitalisation & Psychology As both the track were related to Society & Culture we ran both of them in parallel.
The Chairperson of the theme was Prof P. K. Dashora Vice-Chancellor Kota University Special Lectures in this session were Dr. Gayatri Tiwari Professor MPUAT, Prof Bhavna Detha Dean Pacific College of Social Science & Humanities In all 45 Papers were presented in this track. The major themes discussed in this session were Digital Sociology, Social Cultural Trends in Digital Age Diversity of Culture in Digital Age, Human Behaviour in Digital Age, Life Skill & Well Being, Digitalisation & Mental Health The Track was coordinated by Dr. Nidhi Nalwaya & Dr. Kulwinder Kaur.
The convener of the online presentations was Mr. Ali Yawar Reha. Best papers and Best Poster were selected from each track on the criteria of content, research methodology, and presentations skills. All the selected papers of the conference will now be published in the journals of the university and an ISBN Book.
All the seven technical tracks were concluded with an inclusion of high level deliberation, thought processes and insights which led all of us to think further for more in-depth discussions that can be made on this very vast topic of Digital Transformation in Business, Economy, Society & Culture which we though tried to sum-up in this two days conference.
