Summary

International conference on “Contemporary Innovative practices in Management” organized on 13 & 14 April, 2012. The main objective of the conference was to create a platform to bring together the global innovative practices that vary across the countries or continents to enhance global competitiveness.

Research papers and articles were invited on all the functional areas of management- finance marketing, human resources, production & operations and information technology with sub themes related to all theoretical and practical implications in the respective areas.

Experts from different specialized areas of management were invited to deliver keynote address in respective tracks. International delegates from various countries like Iran, Iraq, Mexico, Italy, Bangladesh, Oman, Srilanka, UAE, Bhutan, etc. participated in the conference making it a mega successful event.

Papers were presented on issues like Innovative marketing strategies, Behavioral finance, Corporate governance, Business process re-engineering and contemporary issues in human resource vis change management, industrial relations, motivation and leadership.
